Training Riders and Horses for the Exciting Sport of Cowboy Mounted Shooting
2016 All Rights Reserved Hired Gun Horsemanship
Hired Gun Horsemanship offers a 5 week training program to get your horse ready to compete in Mounted Shooting. Sam will work with your horse to acclimate it to gunfire and begin to teach the horse to effectively run the courses of fire.  Half way through the program they like to have the rider come back and spend time riding so that Sam can evaluate your riding style and adjust the training of your horse to suit your needs.  Sam will work with you at that time on any riding issues you may be having to help you get the best start possible when you and your newly trained horse take the stage at the  next event. Below is a list of current rates for Gun Training, Rider Training and other expenses you may incur while your horse is in training.  We want you to know up front exactly what the costs will be so we can discuss your options and tailor a program that fits your needs as well as your pocketbook! Thank you for your interest in the Hired Gun Horsemanship training program.  We look forward to working with you and sharing our knowledge and enthusiasm for this fun and exciting sport.  Please don't hesitate to contact us by email or phone if you have any questions.
